Early Detection of Breast Cancer

Breast cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in women. However, with early detection, the chances of recovery are very high. Breast self-examination (BSE) is the first step every woman can take.

How to Perform BSE

  1. Perform examination 7-10 days after menstruation ends
  2. Stand in front of a mirror and observe changes in breast shape or size
  3. Raise both arms and notice any changes
  4. Palpate breasts with circular motions using three middle fingers
  5. Check the armpit area for lumps

Warning Signs

  • Lump or thickening in breast or armpit
  • Changes in breast shape or size
  • Dimpling or puckering of breast skin
  • Nipple discharge (especially bloody)
  • Unusual pain or discomfort

"Early detection saves lives. Perform regular examinations and don't hesitate to consult a doctor."
